4-Day / 3-Night Murchison Falls Safari
Day 1: Kampala/Entebbe – Drive to Murchison Falls via Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary
Depart early from Kampala or Entebbe and head north towards Murchison Falls National Park. Stop en route at the Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary for a guided walk to see white rhinos in their natural habitat — completing the Big Five experience in Uganda. After lunch, continue through the park, crossing the Nile River to reach your lodge. Dinner and overnight at your lodge near the falls.
Day 2: Morning Game Drive & Afternoon Nile Boat Safari
After an early breakfast, enjoy a morning game drive across the northern savannah plains, where you may spot lions, elephants, giraffes, buffaloes, hartebeest, leopards, and various antelope species. Return for lunch and relaxation. In the afternoon, take a boat cruise up the Nile River to the base of the majestic Murchison Falls, spotting hippos, Nile crocodiles, and abundant birdlife along the way. Optional short hike to the top of the falls for panoramic views. Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.
Day 3: Delta Boat Safari or Second Game Drive (Optional)
Spend the day according to your preference. You may opt for a sunrise boat safari to the Nile Delta (great for birdwatching, including the rare shoebill stork) or a second game drive for more wildlife encounters. Relax at the lodge in the afternoon or visit a nearby community project or cultural site. Overnight at the lodge.
Day 4: Return to Kampala / Entebbe
After breakfast, begin your journey back to Kampala or Entebbe, with lunch en route and scenic stops along the way. Arrive in the afternoon for drop-off at your hotel or airport, ending your safari with unforgettable memories of Uganda’s natural wonders.
