7-Day Masai Mara – Lake Nakuru – Amboseli Safari
Day 1: Nairobi – Masai Mara
Depart Nairobi in the morning and begin your journey toward the Masai Mara Game Reserve, passing through the dramatic landscapes of the Great Rift Valley. Enjoy a picnic lunch en route, and arrive in the Mara in the afternoon.
Proceed on a game drive in search of the Big Five – lions (including the famous black-maned lions), elephants, leopards, cheetahs, buffaloes – as well as other plains game.
Dinner and overnight at the campsite.
Day 2: Masai Mara – Full Day Game Drive
Spend the entire day exploring the vast Masai Mara Reserve, known for its rolling savannah, abundant wildlife, and rich biodiversity.
Look out for large herds of wildebeest, zebras, antelopes, giraffes, and a variety of predators.
All meals and overnight at the campsite.
Day 3: Masai Mara – Full Day Game Viewing
Enjoy another full day of game drives in different areas of the park. Optional activities in between meal breaks include a guided nature walk or a visit to a nearby Maasai Village (extra cost).
Dinner and overnight at the campsite.
Day 4: Masai Mara – Lake Nakuru
Take an early morning game drive, then depart Masai Mara for Lake Nakuru National Park, arriving in the evening.
Enjoy views of the Rift Valley escarpment and have a picnic lunch en route.
Dinner and overnight at a budget hotel in Nakuru.
Day 5: Lake Nakuru – Amboseli
After breakfast, go on a morning game drive in Lake Nakuru National Park, known for its flamingos, pelicans, and rhino sanctuary.
Depart for Amboseli National Park after lunch in Nairobi. If time allows, enjoy a short evening game drive upon arrival.
Dinner and overnight at the campsite.
Day 6: Amboseli – Full Day Game Drive
Spend a full day in Amboseli, located at the foot of Mount Kilimanjaro. Capture breathtaking views of elephants with snow-capped Kilimanjaro in the background.
Look out for lions, hyenas, zebras, giraffes, wildebeest, and over 400 bird species. Optional: Visit a Maasai Village nearby (extra cost).
Meals and overnight at the campsite.
Day 7: Amboseli – Nairobi
Enjoy a final early morning game drive in Amboseli, then depart for Nairobi with a picnic lunch en route.
Arrive in Nairobi by late afternoon. Drop-off at your hotel or airport.
